What can Happen when it’s on “What’s On”
How life weaves it’s way is quite fascinating. Healthmakers itself was funded from the profits earned through an article written about Colleen Thornhill and published in the Sunday Times magazine in July 1995. Today, Healthmakers’ returns the favour with Free promotion of Healthy Lifestyle events throughout South Africa to open doors for other SME’s. I specifically refer to this pleasing trail of events.
Serna Kramer of Raw Works sent us notification of her last Raw Food course for 2010 to be published in Healthmakers’ Healthy Happenings on the What’s On pages in the blog www.lifestyle4health.co.za.
In January she received a call from Radio 702 inviting her to their Healthy Lifestyle Feature program hosted by Redi Tlhabi. Serna notified me and at 11am all Healthmakers staff huddled round the computer to listen to the interview on 702 live. (Oh am I so grateful for modern technology!)
Serna knew that there were a number of people running Raw Food workshops and courses in the Gauteng area and was fascinated to find out how she had been selected. 702 told her that they had Googled Raw Food and opened http://lifestyle4health.co.za/johannesburg-introduction-raw-year-serna-raw-works/ and found Serna’s Raw Food workshop.
I followed up with Serna and was delighted to find that the 702 interview had opened up loads of doors for her including an interview by the Afrikaans newspaper Beeld, so if you spread the word by sending notification of Healthy Happenings to firstname.lastname@example.org. You never know where it could lead!
